Office Space

I finally have an office. For the past 6 months i've been flitting from corner to corner because i happen to have keys to most of the offices on the third floor. I keep giving up my favorite corner though whenever a visiting professor is in town. So finally i claimed one of the empty offices, cleaned and organized it, and ripped down all trace of its previous owner. Then i put my name on the door and declared it mine.

Its a bit spartan looking still but you can tell the work area is mine by the bag of jelly beans on the desk.

Running

It hurts to walk. I need to get a few more light workouts into my week before i do crazy things like run with a group who have been training regularly and hope to keep up in 20 degree weather along a hilly course.

It's been a while

My Happy Flower collection is EXPANDING. Horacia has already been to Japan and Margarita has done some extensive traveling along the east coast.

Terrible News!

The popsicles i like have gone up in price! They are now $4.49 a box. It is now what i would refer to as a luxury item and can no longer go home with me every week. Much sadness. :(

I did it! I sewed up the tiny little broken flap on my robe! It did take me half an hour and now i have to get bloodstains out of the thing (i'm not that great at threading the needle) but its fixed!

I guess all that's left to do is take up needlepoint. Like these!

So i haven't posted because there is nothing to say. There was a very exciting sale on toilet paper that left me giddy for a few hours! And now I'm going to sew up this thing that needs sewing. Yes mom i do own a sewing kit.


Also pistachio pudding is the best.
